Proftpd 설치하기

Proftp를 다운받는다. RPM으로 설치하면 편하겠지만..
Yum Depo에 없길래 그냥 소스설치를 한다….

압축풀고 압축 푼 폴더로 들어가서 configure를 한다.

./configure –prefix=/usr/local/proftpd –enable-autoshadow –enable-shadow 

그리고 나서

make
make install

설치하고 난 후 설정파일을 손봐줘야 한다.

vi /usr/local/proftpd/etc/proftpd.conf 

설정파일을 열어서 아래와 같은 내용으로 바꾸자~

그리고 나서 데몬을 실행한다.

/usr/local/proftpd/sbin/proftpd &

그리고 나서 재부팅 시 자동실행되게끔

vi /etc/rc.d/rc.local

/usr/local/proftpd/sbin/proftpd &

한동안 Vsftp를 사용해왔다. 한동안 불편 한것을 몰랐었는데.
조금 지나고 나니 접속지연 현상이 생기기 시작했다. 에디터도 수정할때마다 짜증이 났다.
결국 Proftp로 돌아갔다. 정확히 둘사이의 장단점이 뭔지는 모르겠지만
Proftp가 접속속도는 훨씬 좋은 것을 이제 알았다.550, 530 에러 같은것도 안뜬다.

이제 작업하기가 수월해졌다…
